Formed in 2000 by veteran musicians from Madison and Milwaukee, Level Down quickly made their mark. Dan Myers’ deep, soaring vocals paired with intense, thought-provoking lyrics, John Weekes’ addictive grooves, and J. Austin Ellis’ ripping guitar riffs pushed the boundaries of 21st-century Hard Rock. Their self-titled debut album, independently released in 2005, showcased their unique sound. Despite a long hiatus starting in 2014 due to Dan’s MS diagnosis, the band returned in 2022 to complete their second album, Between Hope And Hell. Singles released in 2023 -24 received enthusiastic feedback from fans. With renewed focus and energy, Level Down is moving forward, ready for whatever the future holds.
